Lai lands the Yankees' largest international bonus of 2025–26 International period
The New York Yankees just added one of the most intriguing pitching prospects from Asia to their international class, officially signing Taiwanese right-hander Chien-Fan Lai on Tuesday.
The signing ceremony took place in Taiwan and was attended by Yankees international scouting director Mario Garza and Matt Slater, who oversees the club’s scouting operations throughout Asia.
