Source: Phillies in agreement with Korean RHP Chan-min Park

The Philadelphia Phillies and Korean right hander pitcher Chan-min Park have reached an agreement that is expected to be finalized during the current 2025–2026 international signing period, several sources confirmed to Beisbol FR.
Park, 17, attends Gwangju Jeil High School in Gwangju, a city located about 190 miles from the capital Seoul.
According to multiple industry sources, the agreement between Park and the Phillies is worth approximately $1.2 million, the highest bonus paid to a pitcher in the current international signing period. The official signing is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
