Rivero was Cuba U-15 National team member in 2024

Cuban shortstop Noangelot Rivero left Cuba and is currently in the Dominican Republic to sign with an MLB organization, sources confirmed to Beisbol FR.

Rivero, 16, represented the Cuba U-15 team in the Pre-World Championship tournament held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Now he returns to the Dominican Republic, not as a member of Team Cuba, but with the dream of catching the eye of an MLB franchise and beginning his path into the system. Born on March 31, 2009, Noangelot will be eligible to sign when the next international signing period opens on January 15, 2026.
