Three months have passed since the start of the 2025–2026 International Signing Period, and in this month’s column we’re taking a look at some key developments. A few days into April, more than 600 players have officially signed with MLB organizations.

Franchises such as the San Diego Padres and the Texas Rangers have already surpassed 30 signed players. Others, including the Oakland Athletics and the Baltimore Orioles, have fewer than 15 signings so far.

In total, $186 million has been invested in international signings, with players coming from 16 different countries up to this point in the period.

There are still several intriguing prospects who could sign before December 15, when the international signing window officially closes. Organizations such as the New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Toronto Blue Jays still have remaining international bonus pool money to work with.
